Viva’s Blog: What’s your call-to-action?
Focus your marketing on the action you want your customer to take and you’ll enjoy increased response rates and a greater return on your marketing investment.
What’s the real purpose of your marketing? To put it simply: action.
Regardless of the type of marketing you’re doing, the goal is to get prospects to do something that gets them closer to your brand.

1) It’s your opportunity to suggest an action you want your prospects to take.
2) It provides an opportunity for you to measure the effectiveness of your marketing.

Case in point: The Purple Store!
The Purple Store is an online store serving purple lovers by offering every day as well as unique items in purple. Purple duct tape, purple camo t-shirts, purple tea kettles, you get the idea.
Viva La Brand was asked to provide a point-of-view regarding their new sticker:
What was our response? “What do you want people to do when they see the sticker?” You’re sharing the URL but not directing the customer to take action. What do you want them to do?
– Go to the site and check out the new products?
– Tell their purple-lover friends about the site?
– Buy a gift for their favorite purple-lover friend?
Pick one and then tell them! Subtlety is dead. We’re all too busy. Focus your marketing on action rather than content. It works.
So, what’s your call-to-action?
